My name is Shawn, your new wedding filmmaker, & best friend. If you’re here, you’re probably just like me. A lover of the non-traditional, a rule-breaker, a hopeless romantic, and someone who values what happens in the in-between.
My approach to capturing your wedding is a focus on the in-between, where genuine human moments come alive. Where you forget about the details, the camera, the “plan”, and just focus on the one human you love above all else. That is how we create magic.
With that said, I’m so excited to be with you on your new, exciting journey.

Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. We've photographed more than 150 weddings in the past few years and we're happy to share everything we've learned along the way!

We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.

We check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.
While we normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions during the planning process!

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends.
Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
We hope the relationship doesn't end after we deliver your photographs. We want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, we'd love to document your growing family.

After filming 1000+ weddings over the past twenty years, we’ve found that we’re not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. We want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with us and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let us know and we’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due two weeks before the wedding.

In addition to filming weddings all over the Lowcountry, we also travel worldwide. We typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius from our home base. Fees vary depending on location so ask us for more details.

We have been blessed over the years to be able work with amazing couples time and time again. They become family to us and we will always promise you that we are not only making a beautiful film of your wedding day, we are also creating a family heirloom to be shared for generations to come. We are incredibly humbled and honored to be able to do this kind of work.
Why do you love making wedding films?
Our standard turn around time for Wedding Film Collections is three months or less. Wedding film trailers and Instagram Teasers are usually released one to two weeks after the wedding.
